An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading digital agency based in brand new offices in Central Wilmslow with on site parking. This company offer an outstanding office work environment with state of the art facilities. They are based in Central Wilmslow with free parking and the option to work remotely 2 days per week.

Description

The Finance Assistant role is initially a 12 month contract and will be office based 3 days per week with the option to work remotely the other 2 days. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will have the opportunity to look after:

• Liaising with operational staff to ensure the accuracy and completeness of purchase orders raised in the system
• Matching purchase orders to invoices and processing invoices in the system
• Entering employee expense claims into the finance system
• Process payments for outstanding invoices
• Process bank transactions and reconcile accounts
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling statements. Enter new or update vendor names and data
• Create, send and follow up on customer invoices
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

Have previous experience in Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable

Be available to consider a 12 month contract working at least 3 days per week in Wilmslow

Be looking to join a growing company with exciting expansion plans
