Construction Accounting Assistant

Our client is one of the largest commercial kitchen developers/contractors from project management all the way through installation. They also have a 2nd side of their business that supplies equipment. The company has been in business for almost 60 years and offers a business casual environment as well as medical, dental, vision, 2 weeks' vacation to start, and a 401K with match. The company is currently seeking a Construction Accounting Assistant. The Construction Accounting Assistant will be responsible for the following:

• Assisting with both Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivables
• Creating and processing of invoices
• Assist with preparation of project billings.
• Maintain accounts payables and accounts receivables files and update records on accounts.
• Speaking with vendors and doing some collections
• Some administrative responsibilities

What is preferred of the Construction Accounting Assistant?

• Accounts receivable/payable experience
• Construction and AIA experience is a MUST!
• Timeberline (Sage300) a plus
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables/vlookups plus)
• Strong organization/analytical skills
