Job Details
To lead the end to end assets process, ensuring all accounting complies with IFRS and Group policies. To provide analytical support to the Group and leading the reporting for budgets, forecast and actuals to ensure accurate results.

A British, Multinational manufacturing business, who have recently acquired a new business, expanding operations and the team within the UK.
Description
- Business Partner with internal stakeholder (finance and non-finance) to deliver accurate and timely reporting
- Drive consistency across all Group reporting ensuring compliance with accounting standards & policies
- Oversee the site fixed assets accounting process
- Prepare monthly fixed assets reporting
- Liaise with cost centre owners to ensure their forecast and budget data is provided to Finance in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaise with cost centre owners to understand the variances between actual, forecast and budget and provide commentary for Senior Management
- Identify, build and develop opportunities to standardise processes
Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
- A sound technical accounting knowledge and strong understanding of the IFRS rules and ability to apply this to daily activities
- Experience of fixed assets & fixed asset reporting is preferred
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across the business and identify and respond to stakeholder needs
- Pro-active and have strong interpersonal and communication skills to resolve issues and present information effectively
- Fast learner with ability to adapt to changing business
- Sound knowledge of project management
- Driven and ambitious
