Finance Manager, MAT Cover (12 Months), paying c£45,000
Your new company
A world-wide Travel company is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team for a 12-month MAT cover, ideally starting ASAP and has the potential to go permanent, for the right candidate. The company boasts an exciting atmosphere and friendly environment to work in.
Your new role
The purpose of the role is provide support and management to one of the company units, focusing on all parts of the accounting function. As the successful candidate, your responsibilities would include producing Management Accounts, including accruals and prepayments, Revenue accounting, Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliation and managing the AP function. Other analytical duties include variance analysis, booking trend and FOREX analysis. You would also be liaising with external auditors and preparing Statutory Accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, ideally, you will be Studying, Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc. or Qualified by Experience, with experience in a high volume accounting environment. Experience in the Travel and Tourism industry would be beneficial, as would strong Excel. You will also need good organisational and time management skills.
This client is looking for someone to start ASAP, but will accept candidates within a 4 week notice period.
