Introduction:

Bulk360 is an innovative bulk logistics company who service the mining, industrial and agricultural sectors, have a vacancy for a Financial Manager.

Main Purpose of the job:

The purpose of the Financial Manager is to plan, organize, and execute financial tasks as well as to plan, organize and execute projects for the organization. Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization. Compile and complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capturing and reconciling of bank.
  • Perform and maintain monthly reconciliations and analyses of General Ledger accounts and Sub-Ledger accounts.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly financial reports.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts (Such as accounts payable and collection).
  • Completion of credit applications.
  • Analysis of diesel and washday costs.
  • Receiving and assisting with Pod Workflow.
  • Management of employees.
  • Signing off of reconciliations.
  • Handling of audit purposes.
  • Daily reporting.
  • Analyze targets of the company.
  • Meet with department heads.
  • Managing and coordinate monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes.
  • Provide back-office services.
  • Monitor cash flow.
  • Liaising with Director and Finance teams.

  • A relevant Tertiary Financial Qualification
  • At least 5-year experience in a transport company.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • A Keen attention to detail is crucial to perform duties appropriately.
  • High work ethic is required for this position.
