Finance Team Lead (Banking)

Finance Team Lead opportunity to support the banking function within a fast paced public sector organisation.

Your new company
Working with a leading public sector organisation, Hays are delighted to be supporting in the recruitment for a Finance Team Lead, specifically managing the banking operations for the wider finance function. Due to a change in team structure, this newly created opportunity will be directly supporting the Banking Manager and have a key responsibility for smooth day to day banking operations.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be taking a proactive role in the management and analysis of all banking activity for the business. The core of this role will be to oversee the monitoring and reconciliations of key bank accounts as well as cash management/forecasting, month end reporting on bank accounts and providing key information that is required by the wider business.

What you'll need to succeed
This role will operate as part of a fast paced, high volume work environment and require an individual to be confident in all aspects of bank account management. An individual with previous experience working in the public sector, supporting a finance function specifically with day to day banking operations, would be of considerable advantage. You will be expected to take ownership of processes and report into the Banking Manager on any key highlights and concerns.
