Real Estate Accountant

Salary: $60K - $70K (DOE) plus 10% bonus potential

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

A dynamic opportunity to work as an Accountant in the real estate industry! Our client is currently working remotely but plans to transition to a hybrid schedule in the near future. There will be a lot to learn from a stellar team and a great opportunity to contribute to a successful and rapidly growing company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 1-2+ years commercial property accounting experience highly preferred
• 1+ years G/L accounting experience
• CAM experience highly preferred but not required
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Understanding of GAAP and SOX
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing cycles process in accordance with GAAP

• Journal entries
• Variance analysis and monthly variance reports
• Account analyses and reconciliations

CAM (common area maintenance) reconciliation and budget accrualsAutomation and other ad-hoc projects
