We are seeking a Temp Junior Accountant for a 3-6 month LOA with our favorite healthcare client.

Duties:

• Assists with the daily, month and year-end operations of the Accounting Department
• Processes and records accounts payable transactions, ensures invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately in accordance with Finance policies and procedures
• Processes functional and benefits expense allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries, if necessary
• Provides monthly detail to the Accounting Supervisor for General Journal entries; insure proper recording of new purchases and disposals
• Reviews balance sheet reconciliations at month end.

Experience:

• Healthcare a plus
• 2+ years of diverse accounting experience heavier AP
• MS Excel proficiency preferred
• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance preferred
