About Masabi:

At Masabi, we are helping to make cities better places to live, work and visit, by enabling seamless, frictionless journeys on public transport systems. We are a SaaS company, developing a ticketing (fare payments) platform that allows people to buy and present tickets for public transit on their mobile phones or by tapping a bank card.

We believe a new fare payments system allowing passengers to just tap and ride, without needing to buy a ticket or understand fares, should be available to every passenger and every transit agency around the globe, without prohibitive costs or taking years to deliver, helping people move seamlessly from A to B.

Our Justride platform has been named Ticketing Technology of the Year 2019/2020 and is in use in over 100 locations around the world, including New York, London, Boston, Las Vegas, Bucharest, Valencia, The Hague, Los Angeles, Sydney, and many more. With an exciting industry-first mobile ticketing SDK, we are partnering with companies like Uber, Lyft, Transit, Moovit to enable the purchase of public transit tickets within leading mobility applications.

Company

Masabi makes city transport smarter by simplifying ticketing and streamlining fare collection, validation and management for transport providers across all modes of public transportation. We are at the forefront of the shift away from the cost and hassle of handling cash and issuing physical ticket media, enabling passengers to use what they have in their pocket to travel.

Masabi has come a long way since launching the first mobile ticketing application with Chiltern Railways in 2007. Since then we have gone on to revolutionise how the transport industry views ticketing. With the launch of Justride in 2012 we began helping transport providers around the globe give their passengers a better journey experience and help reduce the cost of fare collection. Experience matters and Masabi has more mTicketing experience than any other company in the world. We are the global leader in mobile ticketing.

Transport providers choose Masabi because we offer a proven platform for mobile ticketing. Our solutions have been deployed and are operational in cities around the globe, including; Boston, London, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, New Orleans, Athens, across the United Kingdom, France and beyond.

Our cloud-based, multi-format platform, Justride, facilitates the use of a variety of fare media including mobile tickets, contactless credit cards, smartcard, paper barcode and more. Once deployed, other transportation and best-of-breed can be added; building a MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) offering with the public transit agency at its core. Tickets can be sold via branded apps, web portals or SDKs integrated into 3rd party services; all linked together through the Justride back office.
