This is an exciting opportunity to join an international company in the Education sector, that's set for a stage of rapid growth. The position is a vital role within the Senior Financial team, that will support the business grow and provide visibility of the company performance.

Your new role

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing the full financial process, including payments, refunds, credits, invoicing etc. while managing of a team (c5 heads) and dealing with queries from a range of stakeholders. Other duties include ensuring accuracy around AR and Revenue activities (revenue recognition, debt provision, cash accounting etc.). You will also maintain KPIs and monitor the teams performance, giving support and guidance where needed. Month-end duties include Balance Sheet and P&L Account reconciliation (that are relevant to this area of the business).

The team management will allow for coaching and training new team members, while creating a performance strong culture.

What you'll need to succeed

To be the successful candidate, you will need to have worked in a similar Revenue, AR, AP or Credit Control position, likewise, the client is open to candidates coming from Financial Manager position, that are looking to focus on this type of role. Other requirements include the ability to prioritise workload, provide analysis and reporting, with good understanding of accounting principles.
