The Client

Our client is extremely established with over 30 years in the Accounting & Advisory field and with exposure to all aspects of accounting nationally. They are a smaller sized mid-tier firm and they take pride in offering a flexible work environment and excellent growth and development within the organisation.

The Role

Join them as a Senior External Auditor in their Brisbane CBD offices and step into a Supervisor role in the next 6-9 months. The opportunity to progress and grow is massive, and they offer a range of employee rewards. You will be responsible for providing high level of client service through on-site visits and develop audit strategies for clients in various industries.

Further Duties

• Execute audits for organisations at various size and industries
• Develop audit strategies & drafting of audit plans
• Group audit instructions & documenting control environments
• Review files around technical accounting & audit requirements
• Draft management letters & audit completion reports
• Prepare & review of statutory financial reports

The Applicant

• 2-4 years' experience in external Auditing
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related fields is ideal, however not essential
• CA/CPA qualification (or in the process of attaining)
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent attention to detail as well as presentation and communication skills
