About the Role

You will be the junior accountant in the finance team responsible for financial accounting and ad hoc finance matters across a portfolio of wind and solar farms during construction and operations ensuring financial objectives are achieved. This is a hands-on role in the renewable energy industry that will have a direct impact on the energy transition away from fossil fuels to an affordable zero carbon future.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly management account
  • Working closely with construction managers to ensure signing and payment of EPC contractor payment claims and other creditor payments
  • Preparation of payment pack and management of cost to complete calculations for each asset
  • Assistance in the preparation of monthly management accounts
Skills & Experience
  • Well-rounded accounting skill set with an understanding of all facades required given the wide-ranging role
  • Experience preparing reconciliation reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
  • Infrastructure, asset management or project finance experience preferred but not essential
  • CA part qualified or looking to start
