My client is a large Public Sector organisation based in Cardiff
Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will be joining a well established team.
This team is responsible for the controle of the balance sheet for the whole organisation.
They also provide support to the outsourced R2R function and Order to cash function.
The financial Accountant will work with the Finance manager to ensure controls and processes are adhered to (and improved where possible), maintain robust control over the Balance Sheet and assist with any queries from Audit.
Profile
Ideally tyou will be a qualified Accountant, however QBE's may be considered
You will have a good Financial Accounting background and have experience managing the balance sheet.
You will be good at implementing and maintaining robust controls and processes.
You will have good systems skills with large ERP systems
You will have good interpersonal skills.
Job Offer
an initial 6 month contract.
Salary £40,000 - £45,000
Home based for now however moving to hybrid working in a few month. Therefore there may be a requirement to be in Cardiff 1-2 days a week
