Exciting opportunity for an an experienced Accountant to join a national Facilities Management provider in a Senior capacity!
Our client is the market leader in their field here in WA, delivering tailored Facilities Management solutions to meet client needs. With a strong focus on building long-lasting relationships and a collaborative culture, they have a high level of retention across both staff and clients.

With recent changes to corporate structure, they are looking for a State Accountant to join the team. Reporting to the National Accountant, this role will see you placed within a small team with 2 direct reports, providing financial support to the wider business.

Your day to day duties will involve:
  • Responsibility for effective day-to-day operations and workflow of the finance and admin team.
  • Ensuring appropriate financial, invoicing and accounting procedure are communicated to the wider business.
  • Manage payroll function, ensuring all appropriate taxation, payroll and superannuation practices are understood by payroll personnel.
  • Provide analysis and data on key financial reporting.
  • Conduct regular reviews on cost control and general expenditure.
  • Development and management of efficient financial processes
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction on all ‘back office' functions to accounts, payroll and clerical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policy and legislative requirements in all areas of financial systems, procedures and reporting.
  • Produce and distribute monthly financial reports.
To be considered for this role you will have:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a financial/accounting role.
  • Must have a degree in Accounting and be CPA or CA qualified.
  • Extensive experience and understanding of payroll, taxation and superannuation principles.
  • Understanding of the principles of budget review, cost control and general financial matters.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
