A well - established company in the services industry is now on the lookout a helping hand within a maternity cover in their costing department with implement strategies and structures. The ideal individual for this role will have hands on experience with cost modelling and manage all various cost measures.
The ideal individual for this role will be a go getter and will have a passion for the costing role that they do, therefore someone with the ability to take challenges head on.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Costing standards
- Labor costing
- Variance analysis
- Cost Modeling
As you will be responsible for hitting the ground running extensive experience is essential. You will also be hands on involved with the full costing function including standard costing, overhead absorption as well as inventory control, therefore hands on experience is essential.
The requirements: Qualification:
- Completed B. Com accounting degree or B. Tech degree in cost and Management accounting
- Completed Honours will be advantageous
- CIMA will be given preference
- 2 - 4 years experience in a costing role
- SAP or Syspro experience is essential
- Deadline driven
