Job Details

The role owner will ensure the appropriate governance and risk management processes are in place. More specifically, they will oversee the process of setting clear and efficient governance as well as tracking, managing and escalating risks

Large organisation in the supply chain/logistics arena who boast an international presence. Whilst they do many things in a great way, this is a function that requires some solid support to bolster up processes and procedures.

Description

Key Responsibilities Manage the life cycle of business operational risks to include partnering with the business for:

* Identification and quantification of risks

* Producing risk statements for senior stakeholders to easily understand

* Monitoring and tracking risk action plans

* Discussions with senior stakeholders

* Updating action plans to Risks

* Management reporting of risks to senior stakeholders

* Facilitation of Governance Forums which is attended by senior stakeholders

Profile

* Experience in a Governance or Risk and compliance management role.

* Experience of Internal/External audits, business contracts and documenting policies and procedures

* Strive for Continuous improvement

* Flexible and adaptive style to suit various audiences

* Articulate complicated messages in a clear and succinct manner - up to senior stakeholders

* Challenge where necessary the status-quo
