Role Summary:
As part of the ongoing growth of Experian’s Global Finance Services (GFS) organisation, an experienced, motivated and proactive Group Data & Productivity Analyst is needed. This role will be based in Experian’s Global Finance Services (GFS) Centre in Cyberjaya, Malaysia and be part of the Group Reporting and Analytics Centre (GRAC), a key and growing part of the GFS.
What you’ll be doing:
- Understanding of financial processes, identify process improvement and digitalization initiatives
- Design, develop and execute the required analytical algorithms, techniques, and statistical methods through data solutions
- Design and create synergised reports using innovative platforms
- Monitoring and development of projects using agile methodologies
- Manage the expectation of the finance users in using various systems
- Actively involved in global month-end reporting and forecasting processes
- Work closely with the regional and group finance teams to ensure global month reporting and forecasting requirements are met (including data quality)
- Produce month-end reporting and forecast & reporting packs
- Assist in Budget preparation activities, Half Year Review and Quarterly Performance Reviews
- Ensure integrity (data quality check & assurance) of all the data in global financial reporting system
More about you:
- Aptitude to independently learn new technologies, prototype and propose solutions
- Prior experience in data analysis related to proficiency in automation of tasks and reports
- Advance skill in Microsoft Office (excel, powerpoint)
- Experience in Tableau, Power BI would be an advantage
- Demonstrate understanding and experience with relational data sets, data warehouses, data mining and data analysis techniques
- Shows a flair of interest on technology, challenge the status quo and be open to explore new functionality of the applications
- Problem solving; ability to investigate problems, identify root cause and implement solutions
- Proven senior stakeholder management & relationship building capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team player as part of wider finance community
- Knowledge in RPA and finance experiences will be considered differentials
