As a member of the Finance team, this individual will work within a team responsible for reviewing customer contract documentation and overseeing the sales order process of our SAAS services.

  • Performs a review of order related documentation (contracts, customer purchase orders, professional services proposals, etc.) submitted by customers to ensure all required documentation is provided and complete
  • Performs quality review of customer submitted documents to ensure that the contract and the customer financial documents do not conflict with Mimecast policies and are reflected accurately within our financial systems: Salesforce and NetSuite
  • Coordinates the resolution of discrepancies with various cross-functional groups (ie. Sales or Service Delivery teams) and ensures their timely resolution or makes corrections to avoid extended hold periods for customer orders
  • Operates as a business partner to the Sales organization to remediate incorrect quotes to facilitate the processing of customer orders
  • Reviews orders within Salesforce in a timely manner in accordance with Finance department guidelines
  • Ability to manage workload in both Netsuite and Salesforce simultaneously
  • Monitor and approval of monthly renewal orders to ensure there is no service interruption
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in support of process improvement activities
  • Answers questions sent to the Accounts Receivable inbox regarding invoices, updating contacts, etc.
  • Contributes to the month-end close by facilitating multiple reporting functions to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • 2+ years of experience working in a Revenue Operations or comparable Finance role
  • College Degree preferred
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, Salesforce or comparable applications preferred
  • Strong knowledge and experience in using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Exceptional and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
