A highly successful firm of accountants, based in Central London, with offices internationally. Description
- Reporting to our head of accounts production but also direct to directors on ad hoc tasks
- Role due to expansion of client base and also the head of accounts now being promoted to also take on the head of compliance role.
- Estimated 60% of time on year end accounts production/40% ad hoc tasks
- Accounts production:
- Jobs are mainly related to the entertainment industry and are either "inhouse" jobs where we have maintained the accounting records or "outside jobs where the client maintains the accounting records.
- Mixture of limited companies, LLP's partnerships and sole traders
- Size ranges from £50,000 turnover to £10 million turnover
- Ad Hoc work could include: PA to partner type role, preparation of financial forecasts/business plans, mortgage applications, valuations and tax work
Profile
- Ideally ACA or ACCA with 1 to 2 years post qualification experience
- Entertainment knowledge helpful but not essential
- Good technical knowledge re FRS102 etc
- Use of CCH and Quick books helpful
