One of our clients is a very successful and well established residential construction company based towards the north end of the Gold Coast. They have diversified their products so they will remain busy whatever the economy (and COVID) can throw at them.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable Officer will be part of a team of three ensuring all payments are made accurately and promptly. Your duties will include -

• Some data entry of invoices to Databuild
• Extensive use of Ezescan
• Coding of invoices
• Statement reconciliations
• Subcontractor payments
• Dealing with queries from suppliers/subbies
• Raising purchase orders

The successful candidate will be an experienced Accounts Payable Officer ideally with construction experience. However if you have worked in a fast paced and complex environment in another industry and are interested in learning how construction differs from many industries (and why these guys get paid more for doing it), then we would love to hear from you.
