Your new company
You will be joining a small accountancy firm with a close knit and friendly team based in their head office in Salford Quays. The firm are looking to appoint an Accounts Semi Senior to their extremely busy team.


Your new job
As a Accounts Semi Senior at this firm you will be working a varied role which will require you to liaise with the clients on a regular basis, preparing statutory accounts (inclusive of preparing and submitting corporation tax returns), liaising with clients and company secretarial work. The clients consist of sole traders, partnerships, SMEs whose turnovers range up to the £200 million mark.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this job as a Accounts Semi Senior in Salford Quays you must have worked within an accountancy practice previously within a similar role for a minimum 2 years. You should be up to date with the latest legislation in regards to tax and reporting standards in the UK and ideally have used some form of cloud based software such as Quickbooks or Xero. Experience using CCH would be advantageous. The firm liaise with clients within the construction industry so any prior knowledge to dealing with CIS clients would be useful.
