The client are a global fashion retail manufacturer that have their European HQ based in the West End (Bond Street) and they are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. The company has a real SME feel and is looking for someone that will fit into the business well.

The client have their global HQ in India and their European HQ in the West End (Bond Street), and they are a global retail, FMCG and manufacturing business. There are 7 people in the Bond Street office and they are looking for a candidate that can join the team and help manage the general bookkeeping of the business. They will be reporting directly into the Head of Business Operations and will be working with global currencies.

Description

The successful Bookkeeper will:

• Entering sales ledger and purchase ledger invoices into the system (Sage Line 50)
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Processing a large volume of payments
• Credit Control
• Recording customer receipts
• Payroll administration
• Bank reconciliations
• FX calculations
• Monthly and Quarterly VAT returns
• Intercompany returns and reconciliations
• Quarterly accounts for two companies

Profile

The successful Bookkeeper:

• MUST have previous working experience with the system Sage Line 50
• MUST have previous experience doing the bookkeeping for an SME company
• Experience managing both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgers
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Be confident
• Good at building relationships
• Quick learner
• Strong Excel skills (desirable, not essential)
• Stable CVs

Job Offer

• £23,000 - £29,000 (max)
• 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + Christmas till New Year off
