Responsibilities for Senior Accountant:

Responsible to provide management with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Responsible for recurring entries/other miscellaneous month-end entries and account reconciliations.
Assist with researching account variances
Responsible for prepaid insurance and assistance with Fixed Assets.
Responsible for monthly accruals and assisting with the year-end audit.
Managing rebates
Managing in-house property taxes and sales & use tax.

Requirements for Senior Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance required
Manufacturing experience PREFERRED
Public accounting experience is a PLUS
3+ years experience in an accounting role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with various levels of management
Strong Microsoft Excel experience required
Previous experience with JD Edwards or ERP system preferred
