The Client & The Role

Our client is based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne and holds approximately 50 staff members in their experienced and friendly team. They take great pride in their long-term clients and their offer of a holistic accounting and financial service.

Take the opportunity to join the team as a registered SMSF Auditor and work closely with the Manager and the Partner in the team. You will be responsible for delegating work to more junior staff and to train and mentor colleagues.

The Duties

• Audit SMSF financial statements and SIS compliance
• Review the audit of SMSF financial statements and SIS compliance
• Assist graduate auditors in the team with client and fund queries
• Provide support to client managers (including client contact)
• Work closely within an experienced team of SMSF auditors in Melbourne as well as offshore

The Applicant

• 3+ years' experience in SMSF Audits in Australia
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field
• CA or CPA qualification in place, or in the process of obtaining it
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using Cloud Offis
• BGL Simplefund 360 and MYOB AE experience is beneficial for this role
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
