Corporate Tax Assistant Manager / Manager, Manufacturing, Glasgow, £43,000 - £53,000, full-time or part-time

This opportunity is permanent and may be full-time or part-time. The position is suited to an individual with strong UK corporate tax knowledge or a transfer pricing specialist; the role being tailored around either such applicant. As such the responsibilities below outline the potential duties, depending on your experience and aspirations. Training will be provided to broaden your skill set.

Your new role
Joining a small and well-established in-house tax team, made up of 3 individuals in addition to yourself, you will support in relation to all areas of corporate tax. This includes compliance, reporting, governance, technology and reporting, as well as transfer pricing. For example, you will be responsible for preparing UK tax packs, gathering data, analysing tax sensitive expenditure, updating computations and filing returns. You will also be involved in country-by-country reporting and supporting on projects, such as the tax implications of M&A as well as Routes to Market. Further to this, you will assist with process and software improvements.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a corporate tax or transfer pricing specialist with a proven track record delivering compliance; likely operating at the level of junior Manager or Assistant Manager. You will ideally be CA, ACCA or CTA qualified. You will demonstrate examples of delivering work and results in a timely manner with strong finance and business acumen. You will have excellent communication and analytical skills
