Broad finance manager role within an established growing business
Your new company
An exceptional business who have tripled in size in 5 years seek to appoint a qualified accountant with excellent leadership qualities to take the lead on a broad remit. This role would act as a first step into a managerial role for a candidate with plenty of ambition.
Your new role
An all encompassing role with the primary focus of providing the operational leaders with high quality management information which drives key decisions across the organisation. You will act as a business partner to ensure a strong relationship is formed between finance, sales and operations using your analytical qualities to dissect financial data. You will ensure the month end runs smoothly and play a key role at year end with regards to the statutory obligations of the business. Furthermore you will provide daily mentorship and guidance to your team ensuring best practice is met day in day out.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), ideally from a services background with proven or potential leadership qualities. You will demonstrate broad financial skills but with an obvious commercial flair when it comes to management accounting and analysis of the numbers. Candidates will be considered with either a chartered accountancy and/or industry background.
