We are looking for an executive to lead our financial and business development operations for the New England/Mid-West market, by providing direction, oversight and be accountability for translating the strategic plan of the organization to specific, prioritized initiatives. This includes the development, planning, direction and evaluation of systems, standards, philosophy, and objectives consistent with the organization's goals and objectives and quality improvement process.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Dual responsibility for near-term performance and long-term growth
• Lead the regional finance function (strategic plan, forecast, budget, analytics, management reporting, initiatives, physician comp and revenue cycle)
• Lead the financial & systems integration medical groups & IPAs, Region specific
• Joint P&L ownership with our regional dyads
• Ability to innovate and lead the finance function for one of the largest integrated delivery networks in the country...

Broader responsibilities include:

• Establishes financial planning capability (financial forecasting and decision support) to guide strategic decision-making
• Directs and coordinates the establishment of operating and capital budgets
• Participates in the organization's strategic planning process and establish yearly financial goals and monitor progress toward such goals as part of the strategic plan
• Appraises the organization's financial position and issues periodic reports to senior management. Works with the Regional Executive Vice President and others to continually improve the fiscal position of the organization.
• Evaluates and reports on the external economic, business and financial conditions and their current and expected impact on the organization
• Develops capacity for contracting with new managed care organizations. Participates in negotiations with managed care organizations and provide analysis and recommendations regarding financial implications of managed care proposals.
• Oversees Revenue Cycle Management

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years of regional or corporate level CFO experience at a plan, hospital or medical group
• Risk-based experience
• Experience driving financial & systems integration
• Cross-functional experience (contracting, business development, capital)
• Demonstrated ability to build financial capabilities
• Demonstrated team leadership and management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administrator of Health Care Administration
