Assistant Controller CFS is working with a client of ours that has been in business for over 20+ years and is a leader in their industry. The own high-end restaurant establishments in Miami, California, New York, Texas, Chicago, and New Jersey.

The Assistant Controller responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage the accounting staff, review and approve work
• Month-end close financials for multiple entities
• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis
• Bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, assist with preparing and entering journal entries, reviewing A/P, invoices, etc.
• Assist outside CPA with preparation of tax returns and K-1's

Qualifications of the Assistant Controller:

• 5+ years of experience in supervisory role
• Multi-entity experience highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, MBA/CPA is a PLUS
• Experience working in hospitality or restaurant industry with multiple locations
• Restaurant 365 and Paylocity experience is a big PLUS
