Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for leading a diverse team in multi-discipline technical and operational areas with a focus on budgeting & forecasting, insurance, and real estate. The Chief Financial Officer will drive the organization towards profitability and cash flow. Ensures the financial & operational performance of the company is maximized by developing strategic plans, implementing process improvements, identifying opportunities, and achieving business goals.

Responsibilities
  • CFO,overall responsible for providing executive leadership to the Accounting, Finance, Informational Technology, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Facilities and Customer Financing departments
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget/forecast process
  • Coordinate all budget meetings for development and reporting purposes
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to drive the organization's success.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team
  • Partners with department leaders to streamline operations, reduce costs and improve productivity
  • Advise others on legal or regulatory compliance matters.
  • Interface with key external contacts: Bankers, Auditors and Attorneys
  • Develop policies for authorizing credit & collections
  • Responsible for all treasury functions of the company.
  • Maintain appropriate safeguards over company assets.
  • Work with store/warehouse management in analyzing expenses, procedures, policies, and systems to maintain proper cost controls and cost effectiveness.
  • Analyzes financial data regarding material assets, revenues, expenditures, and liabilities to make informed operational decisions
  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing of leaders in various departments
  • Range of responsibilities in treasury, vendor relations, banking, legal real estate, 401K, contributions, and donations.
  • Knowledge of federal and state income taxes, sales and use and other state and local laws
  • Develop, implement, communicate organizational process and policy changes.
  • Coordinate with external parties to gather information and negotiate contracts for various services.
  • Liaise between departments to improve function and communication.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrate a culture of respect, adaptability, multifunction capabilities and a strong work ethic.
  • Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or related field required
  • 10+ years prior finance experience at the executive level. Previous experience in similar size & scope and/or specialty retail/brand roles preferred.
  • Analytical, Judgment and Decision Making, Management of Financial Resources, Advance Microsoft Word and Excel skills are required.
