Updated 9-2-21 (3 Positions Open from $50-$65K) - Looking for accountants with 0-10 years of experience.

Vaco Atlanta is searching for 3 junior accountants (contract to hire - immediate interview and start) for a technology company we work with located in Midtown. Pay is targeted at $50K - $65K and again the need is immediate with the potential to turn permanent in 3-4 months. We have recently placed 2 junior accountants here and the feedback has been very positive. Also, I should note the role is onsite 5 days a week so proximity to midtown is important (ability to commute daily to grow your career with our growing client in a great industry).

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements and processing of journal entries
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month end close and reporting
• Audit support and month-end close assistance
• Analysis for management using MS Excel
• Assist clients with billing inquiries and invoice adjustments if necessary
• Analyze discrepancies and bring to closure (adjusting journal entries following investigation)

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Corporate Accounting experience (internship during college considered 1 year)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including advanced MS Excel required (client will test proficiency in Excel)
• Proficiency with NetSuite a big plus but not required
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems
• Proximity to our clients midtown office will be considered
