Our client, a privately held service company is seeking for a Director of Finance and Administration to join their growing organization. This is a highly visible role that will report directly to the President and work with a collaborative executive team. The Director of Finance and Administration will be able to make an impact in developing the processes, objectives, and KPI's for the team and the company.
Responsibilities:
Oversee accounting operations including billing, accounts payable, and purchasing
Build processes to ensure books are closed timely and accurately to report back to home office.
Review Job Profitability reports and make recommendations for pricing and operational changes to improve margins.
Oversee Human Resources department, including weekly payroll for 60-85 employees and benefits administration
Insurance - especially worker's comp knowledge, claims, and audits
Work with operations/design to ensure efficiency, transparency and profitability with job proposals and contracts
Provide financial reporting and analysis to President and home office
Lead the budgeting process
Provide insights for process improvement and scalability
Provide leadership, onboarding, training, mentoring, and development of team
Experience required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required, CPA preferred
Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in a leadership role
MS Excel - (Pivots, VLook-Ups, SumIF etc.)
Roll up your sleeve's mentality
Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise
