IFRS 16 Consultant

I am currently working with a FTSE business looking to bring on a contractor to support with their IFRS16 Lease accounting and reporting within the Reporting and Accounting team. As a qualified accountant, you will have strong accounting technical skills with excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (Including IFRS 16) and an excellent relationship building track record and have natural problem-solving abilities. The role requires strong analytical / excel skills, real attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deliverables to agreed timelines. The role requires strong interpersonal skills as the role will require liaison across multiple stakeholders including local and group Finance teams and other areas such as Real Estate, Networks, Procurement and IT. The company has recently gone live with the IFRS 16 implementation. Technical accounting judgments have been completed and accounting software is now live This is a great opportunity for a strong technical accountant to join an established high performing team in a growing business.
