Project Accountant

Project Accountant required for 3 months

Your new company
Division of a global group seek to appoint an experienced accountant (Qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience) with strong project accounting skills for an initial period of 3 months to start with immediate effect. You will hold working knowledge of how to apply revenue to projects in line with IFRS 15.

Your new role
Reporting to the FD you will appraise the current set of projects within the wider project portfolio, resolving any inter-company issues, dealing with transfers in terms of inventory whilst ensuring the projects are accounted for in the right manner. You will enhance the management reporting process for the projects managers and generally clean up the project accounting piece for the overall division.

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold prior project accounting / cost controlling experience in an organisation who manage external projects (whether wholly managed or in a JV arrangement). You will be hands on with strong problem solving skills with a good eye for detail. Whilst a technical expert in IFRS 15 is not required, it is useful if you have applied IFRS 15 revenue requirements to projects in the past.
