My client is a wholesaler operating in the FMCG industry and a clear market leader. Their brands are synonymous with quality and they pride themselves on their superior offerings.
The Role
For the right candidate this role could be a part time payroll position or a full time payroll and office manager role.
As the Payroll Officer or Payroll office manager you will have sole charge of the payroll function for the Mangere plant of 100 staff and will report directly to the HR Manager.

Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role you will have at least 3-5 years' experience processing payroll in either a pure payroll position or a role that combined full function payroll and accounting. You will have strong communication skills to deal with payroll queries and build relationships with managers in order to smoothen out the approval process.
Experience with MYOB Payroll will be beneficial.

- Process weekly wages for 70 staff
- Process fortnightly salaries for 30 staff
- Chasing approvals
- New starter setup
- Terminations
- Reporting
- Assist accounting team to complete journals
Office management
- Assisting with reconciliations
- Ordering stationery
- Assisting management with administrative tasks
Skills & Experience
