Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be partnering with an organisation that has been established for over 100 years. This organisation is reputable, innovative with a fantastic company culture. They are now looking for a bright, personable and confident Accounts Payable/Rebate Administrator to join their Commercial Finance Team, based in Doncaster on a permanent basis. This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week however flexible working is encouraged and hybrid working options are available.

Your new role
As a member of the Commercial Finance Team, you will be accountable for ensuring the timely processing of all customer invoice claims, in a range of different currencies. It is essential you ensure that every claim is handled with complete accuracy against contracted terms already in place.

- To ensure absolute accuracy of all customer claims against contracted terms.
- Process and posting of recharges within the system.
- Invoice querying via written and verbal communication with our European Sales Teams, Customers and Finance Teams.
- Verify customer rebate invoices against accruals and turnover figures
- Check turnover quoted against turnover achieved, values claimed against actual entitlement
- Issue debit and credit notes where appropriate
- Support with resolving invoice queries which relate to customer rebate agreements

What you'll need to succeed
For this opportunity, an individual with a strong Accounts Payable background would be preferable. Understanding of rebates would be excellent but this is not essential. You will be commercially aware and financially literate with capabilities to work well under pressure. You must be able to work well as part of a team and be passionate about high standards and attention to detail. Ideally, you will have excellent computer literacy when using Microsoft Systems.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of between £19,000-£23,000, dependent on experience. This organisation offer flexible and hybrid remote working policies.
