Our client a large c. £300 million turnover business that is continuing to experience further growth. It has a large shared service centre in Nottingham, which has a finance team of c. 70 employees (including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial accounts and management accounts).

Description

As Finance Officer you will be reporting into the Accounts Receivable Manager and will be working as part of the accounts receivable team. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Raising sales invoices
• Issuing credit notes
• Dealing with customers' invoice queries
• Liaising with customers regarding their outstanding debts
• Allocating cash receipts and credit notes
• Banking customers cheques
• Preparing and issuing monthly statements for customers
• Providing ad-hoc reporting
• Raising any concerns on debt with the relevant teams
• Assisting the Management Accountants with calculating accrued and prepaid income
• Liaising with Solicitors to collect debt
