The Role
This is an amazing personal and professional growth opportunity for a Finance/Business Manager who will be an important member of the leadership team working toward significant growth goals and maturing business systems. The role will lead the Finance team. Key responsibilities of the team include:

• Responsible for accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
  
• Payroll processing and reporting.
  
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, accrual accounting, posting journal entries, reviewing transactions and drafting financial statements.
  
• Financial forecasting and modelling for forward looking insights and cashflow management.
  
• Preparation of annual financial budgets & budget versus actual reporting.
  
• Updating and maintaining reporting including KPI tracking and forecasting and unit cost management.
  
• Responsible for statutory compliance including BAS/IAS. Income tax returns, Payroll Tax, FBT, PAYG, Superannuation etc.
  

You will be supported by external accounting advisory as required for tax and other specialist items.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Commerce. CA/CPA qualifications will be highly regarded
  
• Experience in a Finance role in a Manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
  
• Experience leading a Finance Team
  
• Experience using Xero
  
• Payroll experience
