Job Details

Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking an Analyst for its TV Finance & Operations team. This position will assist the group in its efforts to forecast and track the performance of the Lionsgate TV business and support development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial support for the television production division on a regular basis 
  • Assist in managing quarterly corporate reporting process. Analyze and review for accounting accuracy and forecasting to corporate accounting group and corporate FP&A group
  • Review, analyze and track variances on TV ultimates 
  • Review reporting provided by the productions 
  • Work cross-functionally across the finance, production business affairs and development teams
  • Assist with the consolidation, review, and analyze divisional forecasts/budgets for both P&L and Cash Flow to provide financials to senior management
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and miscellaneous projects as needed​

Qualifications & Skills

  • BS/BA in business, accounting, or finance
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Strong research and analytical skills and comfort with complex numerical analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and financial skills
  • No media and entertainment industry experience is necessary; however, the ideal candidate will be highly motivated to pursue a career in business/finance in the media and entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will also be a self-starter and have a strong work ethic
