This is a newly created role for a Senior Business Analyst with expertise working on consumer platforms.

Ideally you will be able to start immediately as the project has kicked off this week.

This is a brand new initiative for the business, so you will need experience working as the sole Business Analyst from the very beginning of a project.

Skill set / Experience needed -

· Experience working in the Financial Services or Lending space

· Prior experience working on consumer platforms

· Well versed working as a Business Analyst from project initiation

· Gathering, validating, and documenting business requirements as stories, for implementation by developers

· Creating specifications for solutions

· AS IS, TO BE process mapping

· Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements

· Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts

· Supporting business transition through training and documentation

· Analysis of changes to applications and its impact to other systems and applications

· Identify, report and prioritize defects

· Work with the production teams and coordinate with developers to locate and assist in identifying and resolving software defects

· Assist with the design and development of quality assurance practices

· Design and development of detailed testing documentation, particularly test scripts

· Support business by actively testing and managing testing in collaboration with the users

· Actively follow reported problems encountered through to resolution

· Comfortable working with Product Owners / Managers

· Ability to operate in an Agile delivery framework

· Experienced working in lean, fast paced, environment

This role will start as a 12 month fixed term piece of work.
