Commercial Finance Analyst - KD Corp Apply Now angle-right

Position purpose

• Provide financial analysis for competitive tender responses
• Support transaction documentation and reporting
• Work in collaboration with operational teams to mobilise or transition new businesses
• Develop financial or KPI models in Excel to support decision making, commercial analysis and provide competitive insight
• Support in the writing of proposals, briefing notes and presentations
• Contribute to the Budget/Forecasting and analysis of the KD Group financials.

Main tasks

• Provision of high-quality industry, financial and business analysis, ensuring that finance data is current and accurate.
• Financial analysis of existing operator information
• Preparation of base and initiative input data for inclusion within financial models.
• Liaison with individual non-financial work streams to support the development of data for the financial models.
• Preparation of financial sub-models utilising best practice techniques.
• Ad hoc analysis as required in conjunction with senior management and finance team.
• Building good working relationships with other teams and to effectively represent the finance team's expertise and objectives.
• Articulate contractual risks and assess the financial implications for the transaction team

Experience and skills

• Degree educated.
• A strong analytical thinker with good attention to detail.
• Expertise in manipulating and explaining complex data.
• A team player with good organisational skills.
• Approachable and determined attitude.
• Financial, transport or bidding experience highly desirable.
