Job Details
To provide dedicated financial resource to support and challenge the manufacturing operation at a site level and to support the Director of Supply Chain Finance in delivery of your objectives.

Description
Finance Control & Operations
- Delivery of site standards which reflect best practices
- Delivery of weekly/monthly reporting cycle (FPR, forecasts, KPI's, etc)
- Maintain adequate financial control at site and a good level of governance
- Monitor and report capital expenditure for the site
- Review and analyse stock reporting and forecasting
Performance Reporting
- Reporting timely information to site teams both financial and non-financial
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Co-ordinate site budgets and ensure alignment with the business objectives
- Delivery of site forecasts ensuring it is accurate, robust and timely
- Complete forecasts and budgets in conjunction with site management teams to company standard
Decision Support
- Develop highly effective working relationships with key business partners
- Add value operationally by providing, insight, challenge and analysis ensuring a finance perspective is brought to all business decision using fact based information
- Drive cost reduction via proactive challenge and seek to identify cost cutting initiatives
- Provision of ad-hoc analysis, modelling and project support as required
People
- Personal Development reviews, employee development
- Lead and develop the Site Management Accountant
- Support Site General Managers & Site Management Teams
- Support Director of Finance - Supply Chain
- Play an active role in the supply chain finance team, taking on appropriate activities outside of the role
Profile
Essential
- Qualified accountant
- Previous relevant experience within site manufacturing
- Demonstrable business partnering skills
- Good analytical skills
- Advanced Excel / Word / PowerPoint
- Ability to work alone, calmly under pressure and be able to achieve deadlines
- Good people skills
- Team Player
Desirable
- Practical experience of Standard Costing
- Experience of SAP
