Job Description

Perform trade confirmation process on a daily/as-needed basis.

Perform daily reconciliation of open trades. Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies. Assist with investigate and resolution of pool discrepancies with delivery team associates on an as-needed basis.

Manage daily trade designation to pool production. Perform the load/update of trades once executed in appropriate systems. Manage the trade reconciliation process with trade counterparties. Monitor pipeline and advise Trader of future trade designation.

Manage new trade client onboarding.

Manage hedge margin maintenance on a daily/as-needed basis. Manage margin call process daily, including third party tie-out, internal communications and wire processing, in accordance with internal policies and relative MSFTA.

Manage third party pair-offs daily, including internal communication and preparation and delivery of Assignment of Trades to counterparties.

Responsible for the accuracy and distribution of daily hedge margin maintenance reports.

Manage the daily allocation of loans to pools on appropriate systems in accordance with best execution. Write syntax as needed for pools to conform to best execution and agency guidelines/contracts. Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies. As needed, work with the Delivery Analysts to assist with investigate and resolution of pool discrepancies with GSEs/investors.

Manage operations of GSE early funding programs, including execution of documentation for submission to GSEs, reconciliation of early funding amounts, forecasting and communication to Trader of inventory available for early funding.

Update Capital Markets policies, procedures and systems as needed to reflect necessary changes relating to trade confirmations, security settlements and hedge margin maintenance.

Collaboration with internal and external groups (including securities intermediary) to ensure timely, accurate and efficient settlement of securities. Perform the 48-hour notification process as needed.

Support all internal and external reviews and audits pertaining to loan pooling, trade reconciliation and hedge margin maintenance, including SOX.
