Your new company
This Multi-Academy Trust, located in Waltham Forest, comprises of 4 schools; for pupils with complex needs including autism, learning difficulties and sensory and physical impairments. Working across the Trust, we harness the specialist expertise of all our teams in order to deliver an outstanding school experience which combines high standards of teaching and learning with excellent pastoral care.


Your new role
We are looking to appoint highly experienced finance practitioner possessing a high level of commercial awareness, with a senior management background and an in-depth knowledge of financial management, who will be responsible for the financial sustainability, and development of the Trust.

You will be expected to provide high quality leadership and management of the Trust's finance and business functions to enable the Trust to run smoothly, efficiently and effectively in the delivery of the Trust's core aims


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a member of the executive team, and also required to report regularly to the COO, CEO and Board of Trustees

You will be accountable for ensuring the provision of the financial reporting, to enable the Trust to achieve its aims and objectives through the effective and efficient management of its financial resources, and to promote best practice while ensuring compliance with the financial processes and procedures set out in the policies of the Multi Academy.

You must have Accountancy qualification(s) or equivalent and a finance/Accountancy degree Ability to think strategically and to analyse complex situations, formulating and implementing plans of action. Experience of budget management and income generation and leading and supporting teams through processes of continuous improvement is also required.
