Assistant Accountant

We are working with our client to recruit for an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis

Your new company

You will be working for a well-established and rapidly growing business who have a newly-created Finance team.

Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for :

• Supporting the FC with the day-to-day Finance operations
• Invoice approval processes
• Processing supplier invoices
• Weekly payment runs
• Preparing the monthly accruals and prepayments
• Assisting with the monthly management accounts
• Maintaining key balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing Payroll submissions

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to be :

• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Ideally proficient with Sage
• Excel intermediate
• Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail

What you'll get in return

In return for this role, you will receive a salary of up to £28,000 per annum, plus a study package. Flexible working and hybrid working pattern is also offered (2-3 days at home per week)
