Vaco has an immediate need for a Sr. AP Specialist for a temp-to-perm opportunity, located in Westlake, TX. This role is on site in-office, so candidates must be local to the DFW area. Starting pay is at $25/hr.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable reconciliations for subledger accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve outstanding items
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, request credit memos, and research vendor statements
• Handling all aspects of vendor management including responding to vendor inquiries, processing invoices for payment, and setting up new vendors in system
• Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used
• Monitor account balances, track expenses, prepare analyses of accounts and related financial activity to produce monthly financial reports
• Research and resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and/or statement differences

Job Requirements

• 5+ years' AP experience preferred
• Experience with reconciliations
• SAP experience preferred
• Strong Excel and BI tools skills
• Experienced in General Ledger Accounting
• Strong communication skills
