    Overview of the Staff Accountant (SEC) role:


      Assists with the preparation and tie out of quarterly, annual and all other SEC filings.
      Assists with the review of XBRL tagging.
      Complete GAAP checklists, SEC checklist
      Reviews transactions upon account relationships in manner of account structures
      Ensures the adequacy of the accounting system as the basis for reporting to management
      Interprets the meaning of accounting records, reports and statements
      Executes SOX controls and maintains proper documentation
      Assists with preparation of audit requests for various external and internal audits
      Prepares and books the standard monthly journal entries
      Prepares reconciliations
      Prepares lead schedules, flux analysis monthly and other financial analysis

      Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant (SEC):


        Bachelor's Degree Accounting required.
        3 months - 2 years of experience in accounting
        Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, accounting tasks, general ledger and reconciliation required.
        Advanced MS Excel spreadsheet and Word skills required.
        Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
        Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP.
        High attention to detail
        Proven ability to perform complex analytical work.
