Page Personnel is partnering with an exciting new financial services company who are looking for a Trainee Accountant to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Client Details
Our client is a highly successful financial services business who have seen rapid growth in the last 12 months and looking to expand into Southampton. They will require travel to their offices.
Description
As a Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- A portfolio of clients and liaising directly with them
- Reporting directly to directors
- Completing the monthly management accounts and bookkeeping
- Accounts preparation
- Preparation of corporation tax returns and related computations
- Preparation of self-assessment returns and non-resident company returns
- Providing accounting support to clients
- Preparation of VAT Returns
- Assisting with managing client relationships with HM Revenue & Customs
- Advising clients with regards to their statutory obligations
Profile
In order to be successful for the Trainee Accountant role, you must:
- Be a AAT Student/part qualified/qualified
- Be able to work to demanding deadlines
- Able to work as part as a team and also be independently
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams especially Excel
- Have experience of producing Management accounts and financial statements
