Job Details
As the Finance Manager, you will be ultimately responsible for the financial reporting for three of the UK entities and understanding all processed end-to-end. You will be reporting into the UK Financial Controller and have 1 direct report. You will work closely with your peers within the UK Finance Team, as well as business leads of each revenue stream.

Description
- Produce monthly management accounts across 3 entities including cost accruals, accrued/deferred revenue & associated journals at month end
- Responsible for revenue recognition across all lines of business, including business partnering with stream leads and FP&A
- Preparation and approval of monthly billing reports
- Produce and submit monthly and quarterly reporting within deadlines to EMEA Regional teams, including detailed analysis and commentary on variances
- Reporting across multiple lines of business, from productions to events and more
- Review programming acquisitions and track delivery and costs of completion
- Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Weekly cash-flow submission
- Preparing the monthly commissions accruals
- Year-end Audit support with the UK Financial Controller
- Line management to 1 direct report
Profile
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Experience working within a media company is a non-negotiable
- Business partnering experience
- Experience in revenue recognition in previous roles
- Strong Excel and systems skills
- Highly organised with a "can-do" attitude
- Be capable of working independently without the need for micro-management
- Be a team player with a proactive and enthusiastic approach
