ABOUT THE JOB
Autonomy and diversity on offer for a Business Analyst at Australia's newest iron ore producer. Reporting directly to the CFO this role will draw on your exceptional Excel skills and harness your strong research and analysis aptitude.
Developing fit for purpose financial tools to help analyse business performance, the position will be pivotal in performing financial system evaluation and the implementation of key processes. Site visits and regular communications with key operational staff will enrich your understanding of resources production and logistics, providing opportunities to display your flair for problem solving.
Joining Australia's newest iron ore producer during the early stages of operations and supporting the project into steady-state production and future expansion delivers our people the satisfaction of being able to see the direct results of their efforts and additionally rewards them with participation in the company's generous performance-based bonus scheme.
Success is always a team effort, but you will be in a driving seat.

We are seeking a talented professional who has a proven track record of achieving outstanding results in a high-pressure environment. You will have a Management or Site Accountant background combined with a self-starter, forward thinking mind set.

This is a permanent role based at NRR's Perth office with occasional travel to the Nathan Mine Site in the Northern Territory.
The Nathan River Mine Site is located 50 km inland from the Gulf of Carpentaria. Nathan River has consolidated the entire ‘pit-to-port' logistics chain, including open pit mines and infrastructure, private haul road, ship loading facilities and transhipping marine vessels. Iron ore mining and export operations commenced in Q4 2020.

- Develop analytical tools and models.
- Analysis and interrogation of financial data
- Undertake financial modelling and cost benefit analysis for the evaluation of business strategies.
- Experience in delivering financial and commercial information and concepts to non-financial operational stakeholders.
- Analysis of performance against business performance indicators
- Review operational costs and make recommendations on variances to budget.
- Undertake deep-dive analysis of key contracts.

- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
