A newly created Finance Business Partner role working across financial services based in Yorkshire and the Humber, but remote working currently moving to hybrid (1 - 2 days office based) A great opportunity for someone with banking sector experience to be able to move into this high profile and new team.

A financial services based organisation in Yorkshire, but working remotely at this point in time with a view that blended office and home working will be the long term plan. You will be able to use your accountancy skills to have an impact in supporting the NHS response to Covid-19.

Description

This is a newly created Finance Business Partner role working with a number of different stakeholders across the organisation. Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Providing constructive challenge and support to the business to achieve the strategic plan as a key link between the finance team and the operational team with the ability to question, challenge and support on both sides.

  • As Finance Business Partner, work closely with key stakeholders to plan, budget and forecast for their areas.

  • Challenge the business on performance and provide operational support for a variety of processes and producing ad hoc information and analysis.

Profile

Candidates will be fully qualified accountants ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA or CIPFA ) and will have previous finance manager or finance business partnering experience. It would be useful to have previous financial services experience, but more important is experience of successfully delivering a high quality level of finance business partnering across a large and complex organisation.

Job Offer

A salary of c£55,000 - 60,000 depending upon relevant experience
